Dance School

It is the dance project of folk ensemble “Bozhychi” that based at the Ukrainian Centre of Folk Culture “Iban Honchar’s Museum” since January 2005. Trainings are open for everybody and are free of charge. Our dances are taken from elders in villages. There are about 50 dances in our repertoire from the Central and Left Bank Ukraine.

Some members enter the ensemble and performs dance programs together with it. In Ukraine there is the only band that performs dances without arrangement.

Each last Wednesday of month the Dances take place in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Cultural and Arts Centre, 9 Illinska Str., 2nd floor. Starts at 18.00
